Incident Summary:

05/06/2015: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a Kurdish Asayish Base in Al-Nasra neighborhood, Hasakah city, Al Hasakah governorate, Syria. Following the blast, assailants opened fire on the base. At least 24 people, including 16 Asayish police officers and eight assailants, were killed and an unknown number of others were injured in the attack. This was one of four related incidents in Hasakah neighborhoods on the same day. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
