Incident Summary:

06/03/2015: Assailants attacked volunteer forces in Samarra district, Saladin governorate, Iraq. Security forces repelled the assault, destroying three explosives-laden vehicles driven by suicide bombers and killing 50 assailants. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
