Incident Summary:

07/15/2015: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle and assailants attacked security forces and volunteers in Abu-Jarad area, Baiji city, Saladin governorate, Iraq. In addition to the bomber, at least 11 people were killed and 10 people were injured in the blast; the victims included soldiers and volunteer fighters. At least 13 assailants were also killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
