Incident Summary:

07/16/2015: Assailants opened fire on Assam Rifles (AR) personnel in Avangkhu area, Nagaland state, India. Two assailants were killed and an AR officer and an assailant were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K).
