Incident Summary:

08/17/2015: An assailant armed with a knife attacked an Israeli Border Police officer in Tapuah junction, near Nablus city, West Bank and Gaza Strip. The officer was wounded in the attack and the assailant was killed when another officer opened fire. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources identified the assailant as Mahmad Amsha, a suspected member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
