08/22/2015: An explosive device detonated near a vehicle transporting Fazal Karim and Dawa Khan in Barang, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. At least three people, including Karim and Khan, who were both tribal elders, were killed and two other people were injured in the blast. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
