Incident Summary:

08/25/2015: An explosive device detonated at the Jamblique Funeral Tower in Palmyra, Homs governorate, Syria. There were no reported casualties in the blast. This was one of three bombings of ancient towers in Palmyra on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
