08/31/2015: An explosive device detonated near a Turkish National Police (EGM) vehicle along the Idil-Cizre Highway outside of Idil, Sirnak province, Turkey. At least five officers were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
