09/05/2015: Assailants attacked civilians in Beni village, North Kivu province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. This was one of two assaults carried out by the same assailants on the same day. At least seven people were killed across both attacks. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF).

Criteria 1

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
