Incident Summary:

09/17/2015: A suicide bomber detonated near an Iraqi Police Service (IPS) checkpoint in Al Tayaran Square in central Baghdad, Iraq. In addition to the bomber, at least 10 people were killed and 30 people were injured in the blast. This was one of two coordinated attacks in the area on the same day. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
