Incident Summary:

09/22/2015: An assailant attempted to stab an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldier at a checkpoint in Hebron, West Bank. Soldiers shot and killed the assailant before she could reach her target; no soldiers were harmed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources identified the assailant as Hadeel al-Hashlamoun, a Palestinian extremist.
