Incident Summary:

09/30/2015: Assailants fired a projectile and then opened fire on an Indian Police Service (IPS) station in Kakopathar, Assam state, India. There were no reported casualties in the assault. This was one of two attacks carried out by the same assailants on this date. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incidents to the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) and the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K).
