09/30/2015: Assailants abducted five civilians in Janale town, Lower Shebelle region, Somalia. The whereabouts of the victims were unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to Al-Shabaab and stated that the victims were kidnapped for their interest in joining Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
