10/02/2015: Assailants attacked the Malek Nawab police checkpoint in Karkhel village, Wazir area, Khogiani district, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan. Two police officers and four assailants were killed and five police officers were injured in the attack. Additionally, one police officer was abducted; his whereabouts were unknown. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
