Incident Summary:

10/04/2015: Assailants attacked an Afghan Local Police (ALP) checkpoint in Sayed Ahmadkhel area, Kot district, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan. A police officer and seven assailants were killed and seven police officers and eight assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident.
