Incident Summary:

10/07/2015: Assailants attacked a school in Silopi district, Sirnak province, Turkey. This was one of four attacks on schools in Silopi on the same day. At least 23 teachers were abducted across the raids. The teachers were released after an unspecified number of hours. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the abductions to the Patriotic Democratic Youth Movement (YDG-H), a subgroup of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
