10/00/2015: Sometime between October 1, 2015 and October 31, 2015, assailants abducted a German journalist from an unknown location in Syria. The journalist, Identified as Janina Findeisen, was released on September 28, 2016. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Nusrah Front, which the group denied.
