10/20/2015: Assailants abducted Bhima Podiami in Gandhipadar village, Malkangiri district, Odisha state, India. Podiami, a Village Watershed Committee member and former Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) member, was killed on October 30, 2015. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists.
