Incident Summary:

11/10/2015: An assailant attempted to stab police officers near Damascus Gate, in the Old City of Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza Strip. Police responded by shooting the assailant, who died of his wounds at a nearby hospital. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but sources identified the assailant as Mohammed Nimr, a Palestinian extremist.
