Incident Summary:

12/26/2015: Assailants abducted 46 civilians in Beni city, North Kivu province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. At least 16 victims were killed and their bodies were discovered on December 29, 2015 and December 30, 2015. The fate of the remaining hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR).
