Incident Summary:

01/08/2016: Assailants armed with knives and pellet guns attacked tourists at the Bella Vista Resort in Hurghada, Red Sea governorate, Egypt. At least one assailant was killed and four other people, including two Austrian tourists, one Swedish tourist, and one assailant, were injured in the incident. The Islamic State in Egypt claimed responsibility for the attack.
