Incident Summary:

01/26/2016: A suicide bomber detonated near a Syrian Army checkpoint in Al Zahraa neighborhood, Homs city, Homs governorate, Syria. This was one of two suicide bombings at the same checkpoint over a short period of time. In addition to the two bombers, at least 25 people were killed and 100 others were injured across both blasts; the victims included both soldiers and civilians. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
