01/26/2016: Assailants detonated explosives at an electricity pylon near the Baghlan-Kunduz highway in Shahabuddin area, Baghlan province, Afghanistan. There were no reported casualties, but the blast caused a major power outage in Kabul. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban, which denied involvement.
