Incident Summary:

02/00/2016: Sometime between January 31, 2016 and February 6, 2016, assailants opened fire on British special forces near Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. At least three soldiers were injured and 30 assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
