02/16/2016: Assailants attacked a military detachment in Buluan village, Datu Salibo town, Maguindanao province, Philippines. This was one of two related attacks targeting military detachments in Datu Salibo on this date. Six assailants were killed and two soldiers were injured across both attacks. The Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM) claimed responsibility for the incident.
