02/16/2016: Assailants abducted Mangel Usendi in Markanar village, Chhattisgarh state, India. Usendi, a civilian, was killed and his body was discovered on the following day. Maoists claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that Mangel Usendi was targeted because they believed he was a police informant.
