02/18/2016: An explosive device attached to the car of Maalin Mohamed Ibrahim was discovered and defused in Kismayo city, Lower Juba province, Somalia. Ibrahim, the education minister of Jubbaland state, was unharmed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however sources attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab.
