02/21/2016: An explosive device detonated near an African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) convoy in Buufow, Lower Shebelle region, Somalia. Following the blast, a clash ensued between the soldiers and the assailants. It is unknown whether there were any casualties in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to Al-Shabaab.
