03/08/2016: An explosive device detonated targeting police officers in Idil, Sirnak, Turkey. Two police officers and 12 assailants were killed and six security personnel were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
