03/12/2016: Assailants attacked security forces in Daquq district, Kirkuk, Iraq. It is unknown if the assault resulted in casualties. This was one of four coordinated attacks in the area on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
