Incident Summary:

03/13/2016: Assailants threw an explosive device at a Pakistan Rangers checkpost in Essa Nagri neighborhood, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. There were no reported casualties in the blast. This was one of two similar attacks in neighborhoods of Karachi on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incidents to Al-Qaida in the Indian Subcontinent.
