Incident Summary:

03/14/2016: A vehicle carrying Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) members struck a landmine planted between Chul and Huyum, Borno, Nigeria. At least three CJTF members were killed and seven members were injured in the blast. This was one of two coordinated events in the area on the same day. Assailants raiding Huyum village planted the explosive to target security forces coming to the aid of the residents. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to Boko Haram.
