03/15/2016: An explosive device detonated between San Jacinto and San Fernando towns, Masbate, Philippines. There were no reported casualties. This was one of 13 coordinated attacks in Masbate on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the New People's Army (NPA).

Criteria
Criteria 1

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
