Incident Summary:

03/15/2016: Assailants opened fire on road construction workers in Sinak, Puncak Jaya, Papua, Indonesia. At least four workers were killed, and two others were abducted in the attack. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. The Free Papua Movement (OPM-Organisasi Papua Merdeka) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was intended to stop the development of Jalan Trans Papua. Sources also attributed the attack, however, to Lekagak Tenggamati.
