03/21/2016: Assailants opened fire on police officers in Trekh Nawar, Helmand, Afghanistan. At least one person was killed and ten people were injured in the assault. The victims included both police officers and civilians. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
