04/18/2016: Assailants attacked an unknown number of police checkpoints in Darqad district, Takhar, Afghanistan. At least one police officer and 12 assailants were killed and five officers and 35 assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
