04/30/2016: Assailants fired 50 chemical-laced mortar shells at Peshmerga forces in Hamdaniyah district, Nineveh, Iraq. An unknown number of Peshmerga members were killed or injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
