05/01/2016: Assailants attacked soldiers as they were defusing explosive devices along a highway in Tarin Kot district, Uruzgan, Afghanistan. At least 45 assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
