Incident Summary:

05/04/2016: Assailants attempted to kidnap Raul Granada in Trento, Agusan del Sur, Philippines. Granada, a village chair, was not harmed but a Citizens Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) member was killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the incident to the New People's Army (NPA).
