05/09/2016: Assailants detonated explosives at a power pylon in Albu-Khaddu, Saladin, Iraq. This was one of three similar attacks targeting pylons in the area. There were no reported casualties; however, the pylons were damaged in the blasts. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
