05/12/2016: Assailants opened fire on Aftab Khan in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Khan, a traffic police officer, was killed in the attack. The Khorason Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
