Incident Summary:
05/15/2016: An explosive device detonated targeting General Mubarak al-Oubthani at his office in Mukalla, Hadramawt, Yemen. Al-Oubthani, the Hadramawt security chief, was injured and six of his guards were killed in the blast. This was one of two related attacks targeting General al-Oubthani in Mukalla on this date. No group claimed responsibility for this incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
