05/20/2016: An explosive device detonated targeting a military vehicle in Mardin, Turkey. At least eight soldiers were injured in the blast. This was one of two related attacks in Artuklu district on this date; this incident targeted security forces traveling to the scene of an earlier attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incidents to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
