Incident Summary:
05/24/2016: An explosive device detonated targeting a military vehicle in Caldiran district, Van, Turkey. At least six soldiers were killed and two soldiers were injured in the blast. This was one of two related attacks in Van province on this date; this bombing occurred as military personnel were responding to an earlier event. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

Criteria
Criteria 1
