06/01/2016: An explosive device planted inside the vehicle of Sarjang, a local police commander, detonated in Khogyani district, Nangarhar, Afghanistan. Three people, including Sarjang, were killed and nine people, including police officers and civilians, were injured in the blast. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
