Incident Summary:
06/07/2016: Assailants abducted passengers from a vehicle on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in Ghazni, Afghanistan. This was one of two related abductions in Ghazni in which 12 people were abducted. The 12 hostages were executed later on the same day. The victims included police, military and intelligence personnel. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Taliban.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
