Incident Summary:

06/08/2016: Assailants abducted 21 passengers from a bus in Malraghi, Kunduz, Afghanistan. At least 12 hostages were rescued as of June 9, 2016. In addition, five hostages were killed on June 26, 2016. The whereabouts of the remaining hostages are unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the kidnapping to the Taliban.
