Incident Summary:

06/24/2016: Assailants abducted three individuals in Qala Kah district, Farah, Afghanistan. Two hostages, including a former National Directorate of Security (NDS) district chief and his bodyguard, were killed shortly after the kidnapping. The whereabouts of the remaining hostage are unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
