Incident Summary:

07/04/2016: At least one suicide bomber and an explosives-laden vehicle detonated near the Faraj Al-Omran Mosque in Qatif, Eastern region, Saudi Arabia. Aside from the death of the bomber, there were no other reported casualties in the blasts. This was one of three related suicide bombings across the country on the same day. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks and demanded that Fahd Faraj, an ISIL member, be released in Kuwait.
