07/14/2016: Assailants attacked the Mangai Rapid Deployment Unit Camp in Lamu, Kenya. At least one assailant was killed and a Kenyan police officer was injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, sources attributed it to Al-Shabaab.
